👋🏻 Good morning! Here are some highlights from this week's happenings in Nashville:

Alternative rock band Helmet are playing The Basement East on Monday.

On Wednesday, someone has combined records, pedal steel and synthesizers all together in the same time and place at Vinyl Tap. Jeff Snyder invented an instrument called an Electrosteel that is part pedal steel and part synthesizer. He will be providing a hands-on showcase, followed by performances from Owen Lake and the Tragic Loves and pedal steel master Luke Schneider.

This month's Pamphleteer event, Whitepilled with Scott Greer, will take place Thursday. Join Scott Greer and Davis Hunt for a conversation on the rise of the online Right, the collapse of the old conservative consensus, and the political realities that followed.

I was told you all like jam bands; Lettuce are headlining The Caverns in Grundy County on Friday. Nashville-based Hannah Cole will be playing The Blue Room on Friday, blending 90's grunge and pop in a way that I personally find very charming.

Last but not least, indie folk darlings Big Thief are playing Ryman Auditorium both Saturday and Sunday.
